1- Kitchen Design & Remodel: Designer/Sales

This position is responsible for providing sales consultation and design services for our customers within our store and their homes. We are one of the D.C area's leading retailers of Homecrest, Armstrong, Aristokraft, Debut and other quality cabinet companies. Our designers are busy taking our customers visions and ideas to create their dream kitchens and baths. With our wide selection of top cabinet brands, we offer an array of products to meet all budgets.

Key Accountabilities:

Sales: The designer will have scheduled and walk-in consultations with customers and / or contractors to review their individual design plans. In addition, our designers have the opportunity to work the sales floor and cross sell our other line of products.

Cabinet Design: Using 20/20 design software, the designer will work with their customers to create initial design solutions. After making design adjustments and modifications based on customer input, the designer will present the final design packet and close the sale. The designer is responsible to secure all customer sign offs on the sales orders.

Qualified candidate should have:

• 2+ yrs of experience in cabinetry and design.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated familiarity with 20/20 design software or similar.
• Experience on working multiple projects simultaneously and meeting all required deadlines.
• Ability to coordinate projects between the client and our remodeling staff.
• Strong sales skills set (strong closer) and a great self-directed sales focus.
• Designer with existing industry contacts or book business is highly desired.
• Flexible work schedule including weekends and some holidays.
• Students enrolled in D.C area college/universities Interior Design Programs are encouraged to apply for internship positions.
