Angie's List and our Customer Satisfaction Quest
It is a major challenge to become the best but it is much larger challenge to stay the best. At Tile Center we are constantly seeking ways to stay ahead of our competition and provide absolute top quality service for our clients. In the past the only way we got feedback from our customers was if they picked up the phone and called us.
In one instance, we found out that one of our customers was not happy with the quality of carpet we had installed in her home a couple of years before and she was not comfortable to let us know. As a result for the next few years when she needed other work done in her home she used other companies. We learned about this sad story when one day we got a call from our dear client Audrey Primozic from Weichert, Realtors. She said that she was recommending Tile Center to one of her clients and found out that that client was not happy for her carpet and had decided she never use us. With permission of her client , Audrey gave us her phone number. When we inspected her house, we realized that she was 100% right and the carpet was infact defective. We contacted the carpet manufacturer and the manufacture representative also determined that the carpet was defective. Manufacture sent the replacement carpet to Tile Center and we replaced all the carpet at no charge to the customer. The fact of the matter is that both our customer and Tile Center’s reputation were victimized at no fault of our own and if it wasn’t for Audrey’s intervention our client had to live with defective carpet and Tile Center would have lost her business and business of her friends for years to come.
Angie’s List has put a light on these situations and fortunately if our clients are not happy and they are a member of Angie’s list we will know about it instantly. This has revolutionized our way of doing business and made is much easier to stay the best. If you are reading this story and are not a member of Angie’s List we highly recommend you become one.
